About Us

 

Solon Partners in Psychotherapy & Nutritional Counseling is an independent, multi-disciplinary behavioral health practice offering mental health and nutritional services. We provide outpatient counseling and psychotherapy for a broad range of emotional, psychological, and nutritional health problems. Our therapists are experienced clinicians in counseling, social work and nutrition.

Professionals

Mary Anne Ricci, M.A., LPCC

 

 

 

Ms. Ricci is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) and has worked as a clinician in community mental health and in private practice for 25 years.  She received her graduate degree in clinical psychology from Cleveland State University and pursued post graduate training in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy from the Cleveland Psychoanalytic Center.

 

 

 

She provides counseling and psychotherapy to adults and adolescents for a range of emotional/psychological difficulties. She has specialized training in the treatment of eating disorders and provides outpatient treatment for individuals experiencing disordered eating, body image difficulties as well as counseling for obesity and weight management. Ms. Ricci has worked in the Employee Assistance field providing businesses with program, training, management consultations, post trauma interventions and an array of wellness and workplace presentations.
 

Marina Forkosh, LISW
 



Marina Forkosh, LISW is a psychotherapist with 23 years of practice in various settings of the mental health field. Her experience includes assisting individuals, couples, and families in achieving their goals and successfully resolving their difficulties. Ms. Forkosh holds a Master of Science degree in Clinical Social Work from Case Western Reserve University. In addition, she completed post graduate training program at the Cleveland Psychoanalytic Center.

Ms. Forkosh offers highly individualized treatment to adolescents and adults for a variety of mental health issues including depression, anxiety, trauma, loss, substance abuse recovery, couple's therapy and family issues, and adolescent developmental concerns.


 
Karin Palmer, RD, LD, CDE

Karin Palmer, RD, LD, CDE is a licensed and registered dietitian as well as a certified diabetes educator. She graduated from the University of Akron and completed her dietetic internship at Harper Hospital. She began her career at St. Vincent Charity Hospital as a Clinical Nutritional Specialist. She has been in private practice for the past 16 years. She is the nutritional consultant for John Carroll University, Cleveland Christian Home and Food Solutions, Inc. Her private practice specialties include eating disorders, weight management, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, polycystic ovarian syndrome, osteoporosis, vegetarian nutrition, food allergies & intolerances, wellness and complementary & alternative nutrition.
